Tibbie Sheil's Inn

I am on my way home from the Old Fart Tour, via a 40th Birthday party in Boot. The YHA page describes Boot as "at the foot of the Hardknott Pass." This is a bit of a lie as it is actually at the end of the pass if I want to arrive there from the east. So my riding of lairy roads would appear not to be over yet. It is raining a lot, but I am in a very nice conservatory looking out at it, for a change. Four bikers arrived in the night and are camping by the Loch. They look rather damp. I think the B&B rate is looking like an excellent deal to them this morning....

I had thought about visiting the monks in Eskdalemuir but it is so wet I will flee straight to the Lake District via Moffatt.
